Hey, thanks.
Hair is probably the thing i have most trouble with. On one i;m working on now i just did the hair and i really thought i was doing a terrible job, though i's turned out alright i guess.

I worked from light to dark on that, but i think i generally just start with whatever there's more of. I generally always do the little highlights before anything else though. I dunno why but it kind of makes it easier for me when i can flow everything from them.

As for my vectors... i pretty much take photo's, collage them together and make a mockup of what i think i want the piece to turn out like. Then i recreate the whole thing in photoshop, mainly using the pen tool, and add in anything else i think it needs.
